Hey! Look! There I am with three happy people checking out the porch! Don't forget to relax on the bench!
Let's go out and get some air. My that's a large Sycamore tree, but what great shade!
Let's say hello to those two nice people enjoying the Cactus Garden near the Visitor Center.
They really are nice people. They have invited us to hike with them to the rock pool. But first we have to cross the bridge to get to the Rock Pool Trail. Oh, look how beautiful Malibu Creek looks from the bridge.
As we go down the trail, it is difficult not to appreciate the scenery.
Oh look, we are passing by the Planets of the Apes climbing wall named after the movie that was filmed here in Malibu Creek State Park.
We travel down the trail more until...
...we come to the Rock Pool. It is a familiar site to obsessive film fans, like myself.
We rest at the rock pool where I have mysteriously changed into a loud Hawaiian shirt.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, so we will say good-bye to Malibu Creek State Park from our car window.
Become a docent! Volunteer! Run amuck in the park (but in a safe and educated way)!
